UTTARAYANA 2026

Nritya Rasagrahana

Uttarayana is JCAC’s first edition of an art and culture festival, unfolding over five days in Mysuru as a shared space for ideas, imagination, and exchange. Rooted in the city’s rich cultural histories and everyday rhythms, the festival brings together music, dance, theatre, literature, visual arts, cinema, and architecture in one living ecosystem. From classical mastery to contemporary voices, Uttarayana creates a dialogue between traditions and the present, inviting audiences to experience how art forms live alongside one another and shape the soul of a city.

Beyond performances, Uttarayana offers immersive learning through workshops, conversations, and encounters led by master practitioners. These experiences focus on philosophy, discipline, and creative process—fostering mentorship, reflection, and collaboration. More than a festival, Uttarayana is an invitation to imagine a collective cultural future, where artists are supported, young talent is nurtured, and the arts remain open, evolving, and deeply connected to the life of the city.
